USA: Obama revives Freedom of Information Act.
'During the campaign for President of the United States, Barack Obama pledged to revive the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) that was undone during the administration of George W.Bush. On his first day in office as President, Obama issued a memorandum reviving the Act, which stated: "The Freedom of Information Act should be administered with a clear presumption: In the face of doubt, openness prevails."'
