Philippines: Radio journalist shot dead in Surigao del Sur

'A radio broadcaster was shot dead early dawn today in the town of Barobo in Surigao del Sur.

The victim, Godofredo Linao Jr, sustained four gunshot wounds, one hitting his nose and exiting through his nape, and three others on his back.

Linao was the coordinator of Radyo Natin program "Kapamilya Walang Iwanan". According to station manager Mar Alvizo, Linao was also the spokesperson on Surigao del Sur Vice Gov. Librado Navarro. '
