Washington insists on Ukrainian regime’s guarantees for freedom of speech

"Speaking in a live TV talk show July 3 night, US State Secretary Hilary Clinton requested the Ukrainian regime to respect the freedom of the press.

There shouldn’t be the time when the government, opposition or people turn away from democracy or let it be curtailed, Hilary Clinton said. “We expect this government, just as any government in other countries, to stand by the basic rights of the people, especially the freedom of the press. We have requested [the Ukrainian regime] to give us the assurances that these freedoms are respected, ” the US official went on..."
