Freedom of connection, freedom of expression: the changing legal and regulatory ecology shaping the InternetThis report provides a new perspective on the social and political dynamics behind the threats to expression. It develops a conceptual framework on the ‘ecology of freedom of expression’ for discussing the broad context of policy and practice that should be taken into consideration in discussions of this issue.
Speakers’ Corner Committee Model ConstitutionSpeaker's Corner Trust (SCT) is an international organization promoting freedom of speech in the UK and developing democracies. SCT committees were born out of the tradition of having corners for speaking in public areas during the civil unrest in nineteenth century Britain. SCT now encourages the creation of new committees to spread the tradition and encourage freedom of speech. Set out below is the standard constitution which SCT has developed as a model for local Speakers’ Corner Committees.
