About Us

This site has been set up by the International Bar Association (IBA) Media Law Committee and the IBA Human Rights Institute (IBAHRI) to encourage information sharing between media lawyers throughout the world.

Our aim is the creation of a strong global network which will allow media lawyers to support and learn from each other, as well as serving as a valuable resource and research tool for students, academics and all other interested parties.

Add a resource: The IBA Media Law and Freedom of Expression (MLFOE) website is about information sharing and we encourage Members of the site to send in resources, events, and any other information to be shared on the site. Once resources are uploaded, the site administrators will review the content before it appears on the live Site.

Membership: The IBA MLFOE Website is a member’s site. Membership is free and as a member you will have access to discussion forums, the ‘add a resource tool and access to the Members' Roster where you can view the names and contact details of other members that have opted to share their details. You do not need to be a registered Member to access the material in the Resource Library.
